Programme and Networking
|
The course content is formulated by defining the artistic position of the participants and clarifying the subject, context, location and working conditions of their artistic practice.
The participants will develop and produce various presentation formats (print medium, web site and/or CD rom). The course will provide the appropriate multimedia basics necessary for the conception and support of this production process and seminars with specialised advisors will provide detailed advice. The concluding exhibition is very important in systematically and strategically networking the artistic work. The exhibition will be accompanied by practically oriented courses dealing with areas such as publicity, documentation and time and finance management.
Through insight into the scope of the art market, the media, art institutions and the rules of the various art authorities will become transparent. The participants will be asked to question their artistic practice in terms of the strategies and approaches of non-art fields. This will explore the potential of further commercial meeting points, in order to develop already existing and new working conditions, co-operation and various platforms to show work.
